T-Mobile beach tents for charity – Help Measured in Kilometers

„Help Measured in Kilometers” (Pomoc Mierzona Kilometrami) is a nationwide social campaign in which physical activity translates to support for children taken care by TVN Nie Jesteś Sam (You Are Not Alone) charitable foundation.
Anyone can take part by installing free Endomondo Sports Tracker and measuring daily distance covered, regardless if it is walking, running, riding a bicycle, roller skates or a wheelchair – as long as it engages human muscles. Distance covered by all participants is added up to a common pool which is then monetized by T-Mobile and transferred to the charity.
To promote „Help Measured in Kilometers” from June 14 to September 28 our partners D&M Adventure together with Endomondo, Onet, Radio Zet, TVN and Samsung organized a series of events in 10 most popular tourist destinations of Poland. We are proud from a fact that Freedome 75 beach tents were chosen to host wide range of activities during each of those events.
Venues for „Help Measured in Kilometers” display advantage of round tents over traditional structures – unique appearance being just one of them. Due to the hemispherical shape and thick three-layer membrane blocking sunlight, our solutions are characterized by greater economy and ecology than traditional event structures. Hemispherical shape facilitates efficient air circulation and completely opaque membrane depending on weather conditions reduces or even eliminates the need for multiple high power air-conditioning units.
„Help Measured in Kilometers” is not the first and certainly is not the last charity action that utilizes spherical tents made by Freedomes. We eagerly await next year’s events.
