November 2013
The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) is the largest international trade association for amusement industry. Members include owners of amusement parks, water parks, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, museums, science centers, resorts and casinos. Each year they host three trade shows for owners as well as suppliers of solutions for amusement parks – biggest and oldest one being IAAPA Attractions Expo taking place every November in Orlando, Florida.
1000 exhibitors from more than 100 countries present their products to over 27000 amusement industry professionals. We could not think of better place to unveil MotionDome technology to the US market. Freedomes together with our partner and VR technology expert Holovis, introduced two geodesic dome structures utilizing spherical projection technology.
Twin-seat immersive and interactive projection domes that integrate real-time gaming and CGI media. Audiences are completely encapsulated by 360° visuals. Larger theatre dome showcases scalability of MotionDome technology.
We were expecting a warm welcome from people attending IAAPA Attraction Expo, however reality exceeded our expectations. We have seen long queues lining up to play Dome Racer and Dome Fighter games in MotionDomes. We are talking about amusement industry experts impressed by our technology. We could not think of a higher praise.
