Music & Art Feast in a Black Dome at the DGTL Festival
Amsterdam, The Netherlands /
April 2017
What is the best place for cutting-edge electronic music and conceptual art to meet? A completely black fantastic (Free)dome! That’s how stunningly this year’s Amsterdam edition of the world-famous DGTL festival was set.
DGTL is a true artistic feast made of sound, visuals effects, tantalising performances and urban technology inspired installations. The organisers are known for designing majestic stages within industrial settings and creating hypnotising light and visual effects that intensify the musical and artistic thrill. This year’s edition proved once again that DGTL Amsterdam is a loudly beating heart of European electronic music. As always, the participants could enjoy the performances of both leading artists and emerging promising talents.
Our Freedome 150 was this year a proud part of this energising event, which for years has been very important on the global festival landscape. To blend into the DGTL’s industrial character and strengthen the mesmerising experience, the dome was covered with a completely black membrane. Also, black powder coated framework matched the unique spirit of the festival. Once again, our spherical (Free)domes proved to be an incredible festival and concert area that allows to create literally any space your imagination devises.
