Summer House Music Festival
Tarnowskie Gory, Poland /
August 2010
Every casual passer-by who happened to be in the forest surrounding lake Chechło-Nakło on the night of August 20th (we’re not going into details regarding how casual passers-by just happen to be in forests) was in for a surprise (which is actually to be expected when walking around in a forest at night). Lighting effects, visualisations, laser shows, pumping bass and reverberating singing vocals, and crowds of people having great fun all over the place – Summer House Music Festival 2010 welcomes casual passers-by.
A starry sky, two huge stages, a lake, a beach, and three impressive spherical structures by Freedomes (amounting to a total of 450 square metres) awaited all the lovers of club music who decided to look for some action away from the uproar and dullness of everyday metropolitan life. The Freedomes event domes used during the party are two F150 geodesic tents (of an area of 154 square metres) and one F110 tent (of an area of 113 square metres). Due to their impressive appearance, they performed the function of a VIP zone and did so excellently.
Aside from the Freedomes tents, there were also two stages set up at the event – the Stage of Summer, where the most recognisable artists from all over Europe performed, and the Stage of Silesia, occupied by Silesia’s most popular and respected DJs and producers. Their talent combined with amazing visuals, enhanced further by the extraordinary atmosphere of the woods, made this edition of the Summer House Music Festival end as a great success, even among the chance visitors.
