Innovative conference tent become part of the Global Innovators Meeting!
Vilnius became the first Eastern European capital to organize the largest Information and Communications Technology (ICT) event in Europe. The ICT2013 conference held under the name: “Create, Connect, Grow”, was dedicated to future ICT contests within the European Horizon 2020 program. The meeting lasting three days was arranged in the largest conference tent – the Freedome 700 geodesic dome tent and took place near the Lithuanian Exhibition and Conference Center, LITEXPO.
The large Freedome conference tent was equipped with a light-tight three-layer PVC membrane with transparent front, the Premium Floor flooring system, a traverse, allowing the installation of lighting as well as glass-aluminum doors, helped to create an amazing, comfortable and spacious interior, able to accommodate more than a thousand guests.
During the event, the best European scientists of the ICT industry, corporations, and strategists in the digital sector, discussed the issues of European ICT policies. Interestingly, even before the start of the meeting, one additional subject appeared on the unofficial agenda. It was the innovative geodesic dome – Freedome 700. As it turned out, many guests were impressed by the spaciousness of our modern conference tent. We are extremely proud that the unique spherical event dome managed to positively surprise and also inspire this many scientific minds!
