The Renault Z.E. Tour is going strong and Freedomes is along for the ride, this time making a stop at the famous Covent Garden in London.
The Renault Z.E. Tour is a Road Show type of event allowing consumers to test drive its brand new Z.E. (which stands for "zero emissions") range of electric cars. The project itself involves weekend test drive events throughout the UK including Leicester, Norwich, Bournemouth, Leeds, Glasgow and Bristol with a total number of sixteen locations.
Every single event takes place over a three day period and the whole Road Show will be running until late October. The whole idea behind it revolves around providing potential customers with all the information they might be missing when it comes to what exactly an electric car is and putting emphasis on such unique selling points as reduced running costs and the obvious environmental benefits.
Apart from showcasing the current Renault Z.E. range consisting of Fluence Z.E., Twizy and the Kangoo Van Z.E. the tour also gives everybody interested a chance to test their skills at a Twizy agility course built at every location right in front of our event domes.
The event in Covent Garden featured a Freedome 75 dome with a transparent front and a branded membrane, which left no doubts as to what cars are showcased inside. Inside, the visitors could also enter a prize draw and get all their questions regarding the Z.E. line answered.
This tour stop was also quite different from the usual ones, this is because one of the big names promoting the range came was there to help - David Guetta joined in and did what he does best - got people to dance.
Although, at first, dancing might seem a little bit unrelated to the brand new line of electric cars offered by the brand but in reality the relation between the two is what makes the electric car line so impressive. The dancing part was taking place at a special kind of floor, which converted the people's movement into electricity, which in turn powered a static Twizy located on the stage.
