In May 2010, in a hundred Polish municipalities with Orlik football pitches, the second edition of the Orlik Academy was launched. It is a series of football activities addressed to children between 6 and 8 years of age. The goal of the project is to encourage as many youngsters as possible to take up sports on a regular basis.
The Freedome 30 dome tents perform the function of information points for the project, simultaneously being a place of registration for the ones willing to take part in Sports Picnics.
The branded membrane of our smallest spherical structure resembles a football pattern, while also promoting the Orlik Academy logo and the entire project’s organiser – the BZ WBK bank.
Owing to the possibility of a quick assembly and dismantling, the Freedom 30 structures were set up in central spots of major Polish cities, and then transported onto the Orlik pitch areas during the Sports Picnics.
For the ones that got tired by competitions on the field, comfortable tuffets inside the Freedome 30 were made ready, while football play-offs are still under way on the screens of multimedia consoles.
The Orlik Academy’s organiser is the Bank Zachodni WBK bank, the endeavour is sponsored by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, and its partner is the Polish Former Players Association.
